Dredging Operations: Mobile Harbor

Date: 01/23/2024 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Notice is given to mariners that Manson Construction's pipeline dredge Robert M White will begin maintenance dredging operations near Buoy 14 in the Mobile Bar Channel on or around 23 JAN 2024. The dredge will be placing material in Sand Island Beneficial Use Area just west of the Sand Island Lighthouse. Dredging activities are expected to continue for one month. The dredge can be contacted on VHF Channels 13 and 16.

Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting these areas.
