Mariners are advised that on 29 and 30 January 2024, Bayou Boeuf Lock will be closed to navigation from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., each day, due to temporary repairs on a gate hinge which will be performed by a U.S. Government Maintenance Unit.

Bayou Chene can be used as an alternate route.
