USCG Advisory Update Van Buren Railroad Bridge NM 300.8

Mariners are advised that the rehabilitation work on the Van Buren Railroad Drawbridge (NM 300.8) has been delayed. The new start date is March 11, 2024. As noted in Nav Notice 24-07, the work is still expected to last approximately 18 days with test lifts to clear traffic on day 9 or 10. Mariners will also be allowed to shuttle barges beneath the closed span while the navigation span is clear of equipment. Mariners should contact the onsite workboat, M/V Sir Dolan, on VHF-FM channel 16 or onsite crews by phone at (573) 544-1193 and (816) 721-3261 for more details.
