Lock Closure: Lock 19 UMR 364.2

Lock No. 19 will be closed to all navigation for a series of closures on the dates and times listed below. The purpose of the closures is to perform maintenance on the underwater acoustical deterrent system deployed in the lower reach of the lock.

1. Tuesday February 27, 2024: 8-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1500 hours

2. Wednesday February 28, 2024: 8-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1500 hours

3. Thursday February 29, 2024: 8-hr closure from 0700 hours to 1500 hours

Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guidewalls during the closure periods. Please contact the lock at 319-524-2631 or on channel 14 for assistance.
