Port of Bellingham

The Bellingham Shipping Terminal (BST), specializing in break bulk and clean bulk cargos, has a long history of efficient cargo handling and distribution. With 1,250 feet of dock space, over 85,000 square feet of covered storage and 35 acres of available upland, BST is a full-service marine terminal that has the flexibility to customize its services to meet your needs. BST is also available as a long-term, lay-up facility for large ocean going vessels of all kinds.

The Port has made significant capital investments to the Bellingham Shipping Terminal in recent years with resulting new business and return to profitability. Building on this base, the Port has purchased state-of-the-art cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, trucks, trailers, reach stackers and a mobile harbor crane. Additionally, improvements such as extensive paving of the outside storage areas as well as replacing the roofs on terminal warehouses have been completed.

The Port of Bellingham provides moorage for recreational and fishing vessels as well as commercial operators such as tug, barges, and shipping. The Bellingham Shipping Terminal provides the facilities to accommodate ocean-going vessels such as tugs, barges, and cargo vessels. In support of those operations there are approximately 35 acres of upland area and two large storage warehouses to meet your industrial needs.
