Mississippi State Port

The Port of Gulfport is a deep water, international seaport located 18 miles from the sea buoy, which translates into a short two-hour transit to the dock from the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Port is in close proximity to the Gulf Inter-Coastal Waterway, so it easily accommodates barge traffic as well as large, ocean-going vessels.

The Port offers connectivity through Class I rail service provided by KCS and CSX Corporation can access the Port via KCS’ line. The Port also offers convenient access to inland locations adjacent to the Mississippi River and has direct access to Highway 49 and only minutes from Interstate 10.
