The Illinois River Carriers Association works to foster and promote the interests of those individuals, partnerships, firms, associations, and corporations who are engaged in the marine business as commercial owners and operators of floating equipment engaged in the transportation of freight and commercial marine related services; on the Illinois River and Waterways, or on navigable rivers within or bordering the State of Illinois.

We are a non-profit organization that works with State and Federal partners to keep waterborne commerce moving on the Illinois River Systems.
