Core Industries

Core Industries is one of the largest, privately held port facilities in the Southeast. With a depth of 40 feet and two docking facilities with length capacity at 1,300 feet and 1,700 feet, they are equipped to handle multiple vessels simultaneously up to Panamax Class. The port is located on the Theodore Ship Channel, a federally maintained deep water ship channel extending off the west bank of the Mobile Ship Channel in Alabama and in close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. This combined with their wealth of experience in cargo management and their portfolio of equipment give them the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of cargo needs. They have the ability to receive, load, offload and store bulk and break bulk cargo as well as project cargo including plant and energy equipment.

They have a deep understanding in the management of vessels, receiving and storing materials, and in engineering heavy-lift and transport solutions for specialized cargo and vessels. They’ve handled materials including scrap steel, iron ore, construction aggregates, fertilizers, perlite, pipe, steel coils, forest products, umbilical reels, containers and much more. Whether you’re looking to offload, store and ship woodchips from their world class facility or you’re looking for a shore base for offshore oil and gas services, their team is equipped to create the right solution for you.
