Shipyard repair services are offered at the following locations:

Topside Dry Cargo Barge Repairs

  • All locations

Underwater Dry Cargo Barge and Vessel Repairs

  • Georgetown fleet (Ohio River 38.5) has 2 floating dry docks with 1,200 to 2,273 GT capacity

Tank Barge Repairs

  • Congo fleet (Ohio River 47.5) is set up to handle all tank barge repair needs including ISE’s

Cover Repairs

  • Georgetown (Ohio River 38.5)

Their Harbor Services include fleeting, barge washing, barge sweeping, tank barge cleaning and tank barge ISE service as well as cargo recovery and disposal service.

Clairton Facility (Monongahela River 18.5)

  • Shifting and harbor service in Lock 2 and Lock 3 pools
  • Fleeting for up to 77 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 30 tank barges

Pittsburgh Facility (Ohio River 0.5)

  • Shifting and harbor service in Pittsburgh area, Allegheny River, and lower Monongahela River
  • Fleeting for up to 90 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 35 tank barges

Georgetown Facility (Ohio River 38.5)

  • Shifting and harbor service within the New Cumberland, Montgomery, Dashields, and Emsworth pools
  • Fleeting for up to 389 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 52 tank barges
  • Dry cargo barge sweeping service
  • Barge washing facility EPA approved to discharge wastewater into river after treatment with capacity of 10 barges per day and capable of washing barges below 32° F
  • Cover handling

Congo Facility (Ohio River 47.5)

  • Shifting and harbor service within the New Cumberland pool
  • Fleeting for up to 158 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 39 tank barges
  • Tank barge cleaning service
  • Tank barge ISE service
  • Cargo recovery and disposal service

Wellsburg Facility (Ohio River 74.0)

  • Shifting and harbor service within the Pike Island pool
  • Fleeting for up to 102 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 60 tank barges
  • Dry cargo sweep cleaning

Powhatan Facility (Ohio River 115.5)

  • Shifting and harbor services within the Willow Island & Hannibal Pools
  • Fleeting for up to 75 barges
  • Secure fleeting for up to 30 tank barges
