IRPT is a trade association for the nation’s inland waterway, port, and terminal professionals. Our mission is to provide a platform for inland river port and terminal professionals to improve their businesses and to inform policy makers on the needs and economic impacts of our industry.

There is no cost to attend the IRPT River Basin Meeting, but an RSVP is required for this event. Members, Non-Members and Industry Professionals all invited.

The Western Arkansas Intermodal Authority (WAIA) and Western Arkansas Planning & Development District (WAPDD) will hold a roundtable discussion with the Maritime Administration to collaborate on challenges and potential solutions related to Western Arkansas’ marine transportation infrastructure.

U.S. transportation, business, academic and government leaders will meet to discuss Western Arkansas’ marine transportation infrastructure and what improvements are needed. Hosted by the Western Arkansas Intermodal Authority (WAIA), the Western Arkansas Planning and Development District (WAPDD), and the Frontier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the roundtable will provide a forum for collaborating on challenges and potential solutions related to Western Arkansas’ marine transportation infrastructure.
