Caution Advisory Van Buren Railroad Bridge NM 300.8

Mariners are advised that crews will be making electrical and mechanical rehabilitation to the Van Buren Railroad Bridge (NM 300.8). Work will be performed daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning on 15 December. The project is expected to last approximately six months. Some channel closures will be required during the span of the project and subsequent Navigation Notices will be issued prior to the closures. Mariners may contact the onsite workboat, M/V Sir Dolan, on VHF-FM channel 16 or by phone at (573) 544-1193 and (816) 721-3261. Mariners are advised to transit the area with caution.
