Eric Gilmore to be IAMPE’s New Director of Business Development

The International Association of Maritime and Port Executives (IAMPE) has named Former IRPT Director, Eric Gilmore, AMPE as the Director of Business Development. He will be based in Natchitoches, Louisiana and will be responsible for promoting the IAMPE’s industry-recognized education and certification programs for port professionals and supporting IAMPE’s mission of training and certifying port executives across the globe.

Gilmore has over 25 years of professional experience in the maritime and higher education fields and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northwestern State University. He has served on the Inland Rivers, Ports and Terminals Board of Directors for five years.

IAMPE’s Executive Director, David Arnold, said “We are excited to have Eric join the IAMPE team.  His impressive background in both higher education and the maritime port industry made him the ideal person to lead our business development efforts.  His passion for the industry and network of relationships will be an enormous asset for the association and its membership.”
